Breast Health Foundation
Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women in South Africa and is increasing in incidence. Breast cancer awareness among women in South Africa, especially in rural areas, it at a very low level. Between sixty and eighty percent of all the patients we see in the clinics have locally advanced breast cancer. There is a great need to promote breast cancer awareness and the benefits of early detection :
