What is the difference between a campaign for charity and a campaign for an individual?
A fundraiser for charity is a project that collects donations for registered organisations. An individual campaign is created to crowdfund for an individual (e.g. fundraising for tertiary education fees, medical procedures, attendance of a sport competition, etc.).

Complete this form and your page will be activated on the platform within 24 hours.
I have registered my charity on the BackaBuddy platform. What’s next?
You will receive an email from the BackaBuddy team informing you of successful registration and requesting that you complete a Letter of Authority. Once the letter has been signed and received your registration will be complete. Registration of a charity is the first step of crowdfunding success. We encourage you to create projects for specific needs within your organisation and link them to your charity, or encourage champions to participate in events and raise money on your behalf.
I want to participate in an event to raise funds for charity. How do I do this?
Select create a fundraiser for a charity/cause and complete the required fields. There is the option of selecting an event (cycle tours, runs, walks, etc.) when you create your project.
If an event is not yet listed on BackaBuddy, let us know so we can include it!
How will people see my campaign?
There are social sharing icons beneath your crowdfunding page title for sharing your project with your networks.
I have created a campaign on the BackaBuddy Platform. Now what?
Your page will have its own link, which will direct potential funders to your project. The success of a campaign is often dependent on sharing your project with the world! Alert your networks of your campaign by sharing on social media, emailing relevant groups, and by word of mouth.
