Personal message

The day I was diagnosed with breast cancer October 2, 2001 changed my life forever.
That was when I became a survivor.  When I was diagnosed I knew very little about breast cancer and would not like anyone being in my position.  I now work for the Breast Health Foundation and there’s no work more fulfilling than educating and empowering women with regards to breast health issues and breast cancer.  I am preparing to climb the highest mountain in Africa, Mt Kilimanjaro.  The climb is
not about me but it is about millions of people who may not seek care when they  feel a brest mass because they are unaware of what it represents.  They are concerned about fear of being rejected by their partners and/or communities and fear of potential loss of a breast.  Together we can make a difference.   With your help you are helping the BHF continue with the great work.  Great benefit can emerge from basic breast cancer education and awareness.
