Sabrina Love
The Sabrina Love Foundation, started in 2003, was set up to honour the memory of Sabrina Lubner, daughter of Tony and Suzy Lubner. Sabrina was born with a rare bone disorder and after 7 short years following intensive support from professionals, family and friends she passed away. After she passed away, Sabrina's parents wanted to try and help other parents who were not as fortunate, and also faced these challenges of giving their special children everything that they needed to live as normal and comfortable a life as possible. In some cases, this was as simple as the need for a wheelchair, or a complete holistic approach to the child's wellbeing including daily caregivers, medical supplies, and improvements to the home to accommodate the child's disability. Through the Sabrina Love Foundation we are able to help and reach so many of these special little people and their families in and around Plettenberg Bay, and teach others what a difference it can make and so the Foundation was born. Currently, there are over 60 children that are receiving daily support from the program, including a day care centre housing an additional 27 children providing expert professional care, daily meals, a support base for the parents and a training centre for teachers.
