The team and I have been hitting the road hard and are getting ready to ride the 2013 Cape Argus Pick 'n Pay Cycle Tour on March 10th.
Although it promises to be heaps of fun, there is a serious side to this as well. We are riding to raise money for a very successful program that is the Friendship Circle.
The Friendship Circle is a non profit, worldwide initiative, servicing over 5000 children with special needs in more than 70 cities. This programme aims to forge meaningful relationships between young community volunteers and children with special needs. These relationships are often lifelong enabling the children to thrive and gain the confidence they need to make the most of their abilities and talents. The volunteers cultivate the priceless value of giving and they gain unconditional love in return. They also feel inspired by contributing to another person in such a positive, life changing way.
Your generous contribution will help sustain the invaluable work the Friendship Circle Cape Town does in enhancing the lives of children with special needs.
