The Momentum 94.7 Cycle Challenge takes place on Sunday 20 November 2011, i.e. over 94.7 kilometres and it is the world's second-largest timed cycle race, after the Cape Argus Cycle Race.

I have entered, but also decided to do it for a cause this year (2011), namely for Kids Haven, who rehabilitates street children and reintegrates them into the community.

I am requesting your sponsorship to ”Cycle for a Cause” for the cost of one drink (even the students can afford it), i.e. R10.00 (US $ 1.25 or GBP 0.79)

You may obviously donate more.

However, I urge you to get your friends and family involved as well, from Alberton to De Aar to Cape Town to Zastron, but also from Australia, to Canada, to Dubai, to the USA, the UK and Zambia.

Kids Haven

Charity Default Logo

Kids Haven is dedicated to the care and protection of vulnerable children, including those with street connections.  We offer residential care to children in need and we have family-focused programs to strengthen families in the community. 

The Kids Haven Preschool offers quality ECD to 40 young children from the area, while our family strengthening team works with at least 100 families. 

The Kids Haven Centre is home to 160 boys and girls age 5 - 21.  

When you leave Kids Haven, we will continue to support you through the AFTER CARE program of care.
