In March 2019 we are climbing Kilimanjaro to build a Library!

In order to build and fully equip a library with media centre at Qhobosheane Primary School we will need to raise in the region of R800,000.00. To raise this money, we are embarking on a Kilimanjaro Climb, a gruelling 6 day Hike ascending to 5895m and walking for 6-8hrs per day. 

The Flight Centre Foundation is a registered NPC and PBO. Our main focus is education as we believe that it is through education that we can begin to address the socio-economic problems that are currently so prevalent in South Africa. Our biggest project currently is a whole school project at Qhobosheane Primary School in Soweto, in conjunction with the Cyril Ramaphosa Adopt-a-School Foundation who assist with the logistics and advocacy. To date we have refurbished the Grade R facility, replaced broken windows, painted classrooms and, most recently, started on a feeding scheme kitchen which is being funded by Flight Centre Foundation UK.
