The Oceans 8 Charity Swim is South Africa's first of its kind warm water ocean challenge exclusively for charity!

Your donation to Singakwenza through this event will be used to improve access to quality Early Childhood Development (ECD) for children in underprivileged communities by teaching their caregivers to provide a safe, stimulating environment, ready access to free resources, and a sustainable learning program.

We offer:

• 2 years of teaching and mentorship to practitioners on site in creches in underprivileged communities
• training on how to make toys and educational resources using household packaging that is usually thrown away
• Occupational Therapy services to enable early identification and treatment of potential barriers to learning
• simple bookkeeping training to help to grow creches into sustainable small businesses
• parent workshops to develop an understanding of why purposeful play is so important and how they can provide it at home

With our program costing just R180 per child per month, your donation will help us to give more children, and our country, a chance at a brighter future!
