Personal message
You all know how much I love water and working with children!
This is the perfect opportunity to swim and support an organization close to my heart!
I met Julie and the Singakwenza team when working in Zambia. I attended one of their workshops making toys out of recycling for early childhood education.
I believe in pushing myself to complete this Oceans8 charity swim and support Singakwenza, who:
-Make toys for gorgeous kiddies who may not otherwise have,
-Equip and empower parents and teachers on early childhood development
-Use plastic, which keeps it out of our beautiful oceans, all incredibly important!
Doing this swim is so meaningful to me in other ways too, helping me realize just how far I have come and to never give up...just got to keep swimming!
Please consider supporting us as Helen (a dear friend) and I swim together. R50 or more will help us reach the R5000 target.

Singakwenza Early Childhood Education NPC

Singakwenza exists to address the impact of poor access to quality Early Childhood Development on young children in economically disadvantaged communities. Singakwenza educates, empowers and supports practitioners, parents and caregivers to create a safe, loving and stimulating environment that will unlock their preschooler's ability to develop resilience, learn through play, and reach their full potential. This is done through a sustainable learning program that uses resources made solely from recycling.
