My dear friends and family,
I’m excited to be provided the opportunity to participate in the inaugural Oceans 8 Charity Swim Challenge and in doing so raise funds for a cause very close to my heart.
The challenge involves swimming 8 miles in the ocean over 2 consecutive days. This will be a very tough two days, but “If you put your mind to anything that you dream, you can achieve it “ – Michael Phelps
The charity that I have elected should not come as a surprise to anyone that knows me as it involves children, and little ones at that. Singakwenza is a non-profit organisation that focuses on early childhood development education in economically disadvantage communities.
Please support my challenge with a small contribution of any amount to help me reach my goal of R10 000 but hoping to raise more.
All the funds raised will go towards helping Singakwenza reach more children and provide them with a solid foundation that every child deserves.

Singakwenza exists to address the impact of poor access to quality Early Childhood Development on young children in economically disadvantaged communities. Singakwenza educates, empowers and supports practitioners, parents and caregivers to create a safe, loving and stimulating environment that will unlock their preschooler's ability to develop resilience, learn through play, and reach their full potential. This is done through a sustainable learning program that uses resources made solely from recycling.
