The 50th edition of the aQuelle Midmar Mile is due to take place on 11-12 February 2023. We are absolutely over the moon to return to KZN for the annual aQuelle Midmar Mile 2023! COVID-19 has not doused our flame, nor has it dampened our spirit; we are going to thrash that mile and make our voices heard for childhood cancer.

The aQuelle Midmar Mile is swum annually in memory of our team member Nadia’s hero, and son, Hanno ‘’Brave Heart’’ Lewis, who died in July 2014 of a rare form of childhood cancer called Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma. He took his last breath 3 days before his 4th birthday.

Join our team to raise funds and awareness for the brave youngsters fighting this unfair monster each day, because kidz can’t fight cancer alone. Swim in memory of a child, loved one of friend who passed, or for a little hero still fighting. Encourage your friends and family to sponsor your swim and help make a difference in the lives of children diagnosed with cancer.
