Personal message

Our Dad, Andre, was a lifesaver in his youth and one of his dreams was to swim the Midmar Mile one day.  After every Midmar Mile I (Zelda) completed, my Dad would have tears in his eyes when he saw the Midmar medal I brought home. 

The highlight for my Mom each year was to attend the Midmar Mile and soak up the excitement and activity.  She was our number one supporter. Unfortunately, neither of our parents are with us any longer. Cancer robbed both of them from us in a very short period of time.  We as sisters decided to swim this Midmar in honour of our beloved parents. #Battie #Dimp in our hearts forever.
