A bit about me....

Initially it was the kit that drew me to R&S, nice bright and cheery.... nope seriously now.... why R&S......A very dear friend of mine lost her daughter to cancer in 2005, and I decided I wanted to do something to raise funds and awareness to help those children with Childhood Cancer who didn’t have access to the basics during treatment. Along the way I have had the pleasure of meeting a few extra ordinary children who have overcome this horrible disease. They embrace life with more gusto than I can ever dream of having.  These little warriors, their families, and the families of those children who have lost the (unfair) battle, have made me realise that there is a lot more to life than what we think. 

I’m not your normal almost 50 year old - I will tackle anything and give it my all even if I come last - it’s about pushing my boundaries, stepping right out of that comfort zone and doing it for the kids.... get out there, get up, dress up, show up and DO IT!
