Some of you may remember Alice from a previous campaign: https://www.backabuddy.co.za/alice-zimbabwe-5813044008899691241
That campaign was a sterling success! But now, we want to help send Alice home to visit her family.
Alice is in South Africa alone, making ends meet and sending money home to Zimbabwe when she can. Her husband has passed away, and her family, children, and very elderly mother are in Zimbabwe.
A bus trip takes 3 days, but it is still an option that costs a lot less. Alice has never been in a plane before and I thought it would be an incredible gift to afford her a 1 - way - flight from Cape Town to Harare. I cannot do this without you.
Let's send Alice home to see her family.

Following a successful campaign, we aim to help Alice return home to Zimbabwe to reunite with her family, given her current situation in South Africa supporting them financially, and we've arranged a bus journey with Munenzva from Belville to Harare on April 5, 2024, costing R1800, as she lacks the necessary travel documents for air travel.
