Everyday I meet locals and foreigners in desperate need. You don't have to look far to see people in need around here.

But something about Alice is different.
 
We started chatting because I bought a couple of South Africa Rugby t-shirts from her and then she told me her granddaughter is also called Claudia.
 
I see her everyday, standing at the traffic lights selling her wares to make a very meagre living to support her family still in Zimbabwe. No matter the weather, Alice is ready with a smile and a wave.
She mentioned to me that her granddaughter is starting Grade 8 and requires a laptop for her studies.
I said I would try and help her get the  money that's needed to help her granddaughter.
 
So here I am asking for donations for Alice to help her granddaughter Claudia.
 
What doesn't seem a lot to you will help change the life of a learner.
