Personal message
I have decided (and qualified this last weekend) to do the cycle tour from Sun City to Table Bay again this year. The tour covers 1749km over 8 days averaging 218km per day which is longer than the Tour deFrance, through the Karoo where the temperatures regularly exceed 50 degrees
the tour concentrates mainly on destitute kids and abused women and children along the route, and to say it is absolutely heartbreaking to hear and see these charities would be a huge understatement. Most of them get little or no government funding hence the need for help.
Apart from my personal donation, I have and will be committing to very early mornings, long periods in the saddle and enduring some searing heat through the tour. So I hereby appeal to you all for a generous donation to the cause. Just think of what you'd do for your own kids in need, and hopefully I can pull on your heart strings to donate through this platform.
All charities are vetted and approved by the Charity Cycling Club, so there aren't any fly by nights.
So please assist me in reaching my personal goal of R20000 through my mates and contact. Thanks
