My name is Wazeerah Kajee. I was scammed by a company in Asia when I took a job in Vietnam and relocated my whole family, Ive now found myself unemployed, homeless and displaced as a result of the trauma I faced in Asia’s ESL industry. The company I worked for in Vietnam gave mine and my son's passports to a loan shark/gangster as collateral to take a loan, when working abroad we require certain documents to make a legal work permit and without my passport I was unable to work. I am a single parent with 2 dependents. My 70 year old mother and 8 year old son. I have been unable to work or make any money without my passport because the police, immigration police as well as our embassy have not helped or assisted us in any way, as such I cannot earn an income because no company will hire me without a passport to register all my legal working documents. Consequently I am unable to bring my family home.
