Vikeshlyn has decided to take on the challenge to cycle the 947 Ride Joburg 10km Mountain Bike race to raise funds and awareness for Rainbows and Smiles - a childhood cancer foundation close to his heart.

My little sister, Shanaya the First, died on 16th May 2019, after a long battle with a rare form of childhood cancer called Ewing's Sarcoma. My yaya girl is the bravest person I know and I want to honour her legacy forever. 

This is my 4th cycle race for charity and I am extremely proud to cycle again for Rainbows and Smiles.

Please make a small donation to my race and help me reach my target.

Every year in South Africa, almost 1000 children are diagnosed with cancer.  Our socio-economic challenges, and generally poor level of awareness of early warning signs of childhood cancer, means that a large number of these children are diagnosed very late into their illness.  As a result, they face a difficult battle.

Team Rainbows Riders is on a mission to raise awareness and funds for children fighting cancer.

Rainbows and Smiles is a community-based, charitable foundation dedicated to providing emotional, social and financial support to children diagnosed with cancer or a life-threatening illness, and their families and caregivers.

Rainbows and Smiles is not funded by government, and they rely on the generosity of their supporters and the passion of their volunteers to enable them to do the work they do.
