Personal message
At any given time, over 2000 South Africans are awaiting an organ transplant.
As a Medical Doctor, I share a lot of compassion for transplant patients and enjoy being actively involved in their management.
I’m in awe of our kidney donors and what a big difference their selfless gift can make in the lives of others.
Believing in this cause, I’m raising funds and awareness for the Cape Kidney Association by competing in the Two Oceans Half Marathon 2018.
Please help me to support the Cape Kidney Association, ensuring that more patients get the help they need.

The Cape Kidney Association was founded in 1978 by a group of Nephrology Doctors and Nurses who saw the need to assist the Indigent kidney patients. Patients travel from afar as there are no dialysis units close by. We serve majority patients in the Renal Unit at Groote Schuur and Tygerberg Hospitals. Most of the patients are unemployed and some of them receive disability grants.
