Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Supporters,
On January 4th, 2024, my sister Tonya experienced a life-altering event when she suffered from an aneurysm. This unexpected turn of events led her to spend nearly a month in the ICU, facing uncertain odds and undergoing delicate brain surgery. The journey has been incredibly challenging, but Tonya's resilience and determination have been nothing short of inspiring.
Despite the odds, Tonya has made remarkable progress. She's defied expectations and is now mobile, embodying a spirit of positivity that fuels her recovery each day. However, her journey is far from over. In April, she faces another crucial procedure at Steve Biko Hospital, but financial constraints threaten to hinder her access to the care she desperately needs.
As of now, Tonya is burdened with a debt of R 30,000 to the hospital. Without clearing this debt, the possibility of undergoing the necessary procedure becomes uncertain. This is where we turn to you, our community, for support. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a significant difference in Tonya's journey towards full recovery.
