My Graduation Journey

 Hello everyone! 

I'm Thando Mkwananzi, a final year BCom Informatics Information Systems student at the University of Pretoria residing in Ferndale, Johannesburg. I'm reaching out because I find myself in a challenging situation. Due to outstanding school fees from 2023, I'm unable to register for my final semester, jeopardising my dream of graduating. 

I was NSFAS funded until June 2023, but upon being defunded, all the allowances awarded to me by NSFAS up until June were charged to my student account. This includes the housing allowance, book allowance, personal allowance, as well as the tuition itself.

To move forward, I hope to raise R74 002.00, of which R10 000.00 would contribute towards registering for the current academic year, and R64 002.00 would go towards paying the historical debt from 2023.

I have one module left to complete to graduate. Completing my last module is essential not just for me, but for my entire family. As the first potential graduate in my family, obtaining my degree would open doors to a brighter future filled with endless opportunities.
