Dear Friends,
We are reaching out for help on behalf of our loving mother, Sylvia Morris.
She is a vibrant, passionate and loving women with the biggest heart and is always willing to help out others in need. She is an extremely active person including being involved with praise and worship dancing for various church celebrations and meetings. This is truly a burning passion of hers and a really fulfilling part of her life which she dedicates alot of her time to.
Whilst away with family over the December period 2023, she unfortunately had a fall fracturing her femur in her left leg. Based on the severity of the fracture she had to undergo a 90min surgery to re-align the bone and have a prosthetic put in to assist with the strengthening and healing of her leg.
With no medical aid or insurance in place, all the costs of this surgery have now fallen on her shoulders and those close to her. Hard as it is already to juggle the daily expenses of life, this additional financial burden looming over her head is extremley troubling and heartbreaking, with no real resolution in sight.
While in recovery she is not mobile at all making it extremally difficult to continue her work and meet deadlines in order to pay said bills . The recovery time is also long and arduous and will also involve a physio to assist with the rehabilitation.
This procedure was highly expensive and the family is really struggling to cover all the expenses built up from the hospital, to the surgeon, the anesthetist and all medication involved.
We are humbly requesting any assistance to meet the estimated costs laid out by the hospital and all specialists involved.
