This is urgent—we need to settle the vet bill by the end of February to proceed with Zoey's treatment.

Here is our story:

Meet Zoey, our beloved 4-year-old Boxer Dog, who holds a special place in our hearts.

Recently, Zoey faced a challenging setback—an injury in the muscle of her back, rendering her unable to use one of her legs. Despite undergoing physiotherapy and acupuncture to alleviate her discomfort, Zoey's condition took a frightening turn during a routine vet visit. She began hyperventilating, and we feared we might lose her.

Further examination revealed the underlying issue—an overlong soft palate causing breathing difficulties, especially in warm weather. This condition requires specialized treatment—a procedure known as elongated soft palate resection. However, the cost of this surgery is significant, with our vet quoting us R23,000.

Unfortunately, we don't have the financial means to cover this expense, and our hearts ache at the thought of not being able to provide Zoey with the care she urgently needs. We are reaching out to our community in a plea for help.
