Personal message

UPDATE: Thank you for the amazing support!  Our event is tomorrow night, last chance to get your tickets. Please send us an email so you can receive your link for the quiz.  See you Friday!

Every year for Mandela Day, Headway Gauteng pays it forward by doing something for the First Responders.  This year will be no different.  But instead of us having a braai for them & handing out packs to the various stations, we are taking it online and having a virtual quiz evening.

The quiz will take place on Friday 17 July 2020 at 19h00.  The ticket per person will be R100, if you would like to and are able to donate more, we would appreciate it.  50% of funds raised will go towards the First Responders and 50% to Headway.  There is also a prize for the best dressed (theme of First Responders / Medical & Emergency Staff).

We are so grateful to these amazing people for what they do, especially at this crazy time, and would like to still do something nice for them.  Please help us to reach our goal. If you would like to book a ticket or need any further information please contact Sally Spada, Fundraising & Donations, at [email protected].

Headway Gauteng (The Brain Injury Association)

Charity Default Logo

Headway Gauteng is a registered charity organisation dedicated to offering various support programmes to survivors of traumatic brain injury (TBI) and their families.

The vast majority of our injured members have sustained a traumatic brain injury as a result of a motor vehicle accident, sporting accident or assault. We also assist survivors of acquired brian injuries such as stroke or tumour. These people have led a full life up until the brain injury, which has caused permanent changes to physical, cognitive, emotional and behavioural processes.
