Personal message

I have no personal experience with regard to Leukemia or any other blood/marrow- related diseases, but a close friend of the families, adopted son went through treatment some years back and it broke my heart to see the suffering that they all endured. Thankfully the treatment was successful and to my knowledge, the son (now adult) is still in remission.

I have lost a number of family and friends to various types of cancer and the sadness will never really abate. I try to support events (in my small way) in an attempt to create awareness and the need for support. Thank you for doing what you do to save lives.
