Personal message
I have decided to dedicate my 4hrs to run on the same spot and achieve 42.2km at the MiWay Wally Hayward Marathon to raise donations for the children with cancer. I feel fulfilled when I do something that brings a smile to others and together we can make a difference in the lives of these brave warriors.
It is not easy to run in one place for this long, and I know that I will suffer throughout this challenge.

Rainbows and Smiles is not funded by the government, and they rely on the generosity of their supporters and the passion of volunteers to enable them to do the work they do. The mission of Rainbows and Smiles is to provide emotional, social and financial support to families and caregivers in need when a child or children of that family is diagnosed with a life threatening illness such as cancer. In addition, Rainbows and Smiles encourage childhood cancer awareness to educate in the hope of promoting early detection.
