Im Soso Thamae...I am a breast cancer survivior.

I was diogonosed with breast cancer on the 1st of August 2012,  undergo chemotheraphy on the 22 of August and finished  on the 13th of February 2013, followed by radiation everyday for 7 weeks, then i had a lumpectomy.

I have been  cancer free for 3 years now.

The whole experience has taught me that  nothing is guaranteed in life, circumstance can change in  a spark! but what does not change is one's inner believe, stregth and faith to keep going!

Together  with other breast cancer survivors we have been approched by Breast Health Foundation to join their initiative " One Step at time - Trekking to Mount Everset Base Camp"

The aim of this initiative is to raise funds for BHF so as they can continue with their mission:  To educate & increase breast cancer awareness  and creating access to medical facilities to South Africans.
