Let’s help Simon Phiri get home to Malawi!
In December 2023, Simon Phiri, an invaluable member of our Studio Kairos community suffered a devastating fall, leaving him confined to a wheelchair. Despite his resilient spirit, Simon now faces significant challenges, including the financial burden of returning home to Malawi to be with his family.
We have launched this BackaBuddy campaign to raise funds to support Simon’s journey back to his homeland, where he can receive the care and comfort of his loved ones. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference in helping Simon reunite with his family and rebuild his life after this tragic accident.
For nearly two decades, Simon Phiri has been our dedicated caretaker, ensuring the smooth operation of our studio and touching the lives of everyone who has walked through our doors. Simon’s unwavering commitment to his work and the warmth of his presence have made him a beloved figure in our community. Now, it’s our turn to rally around him in his time of need.
