My name is Shahied Jantjies, and I am a dedicated student pursuing a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) at the University of Stellenbosch. I am reaching out to you with a humble request for your support in my educational journey.
I was raised by my beloved grandmother, who, despite facing financial constraints, devoted her pension money to provide me with the best possible upbringing. Her sacrifices and unwavering support have been the cornerstone of my educational pursuits. I successfully completed my undergraduate studies in BA Humanities (Psychology and Afrikaans) with the assistance of a NSFAS (National Student Financial Aid Scheme) bursary, which played a pivotal role in shaping my academic journey.
Now, at the completion of my postgraduate studies on 15 December 2023, I find myself faced with the challenge of funding my education. Unfortunately, the NSFAS bursary does not extend to cover postgraduate studies, leaving me in a predicament. The total amount required for my university fees is R88 846, and it is a significant financial burden that I am struggling to meet on my own.
