Personal message

To all my SCP Radiology colleagues and families (and friends if you are able to spread the net wider!)

Please help me reach a target of R30 000 towards the Red Cross Hospital ICU Fund.

I challenge you all to please consider sponsoring me a rand amount for every km I manage to complete in this Sunday's Ironman race in PE. Or you may choose from one of the standardised donation amounts, if u prefer.

The total distance is 226km, comprising a 3.8km swim, 180km cycle and 42.2km run.

A lot of personal and family sacrifice has gone into this day, and I want to make it count, for those less fortunate than ourselves. We have had a close affiliation with Red Cross Hospital for many years, so it feels right to offer them this donation, toward expansion of the ICU. Every rand is one step closer to their ultimate goal!

The Children's Hospital Trust

A hospital dedicated entirely to children – especially children predominantly from impoverished communities throughout Africa – is critically important. So important, that it needs a champion to make sure that it’s able to keep doing the phenomenal work it does.

That champion is the Children’s Hospital Trust.
