I am a sixty-year-old male, facing a critical need for assistance with obtaining a new oxygen machine. Currently, my heart is functioning at a mere 34%, and I rely on an oxygen machine for approximately four hours during the day and up to eight hours at night. The machine I currently use has exceeded its expected lifespan of seven years, and regrettably, I am without the means to procure a replacement.

The friends who generously support me financially with rent and food are already stretched to their budgetary limits, and I find myself unable to burden them further. I possess substantial medical documentation that comprehensively illustrates the severity of my heart conditions. Without the aid of the oxygen machine, unrestricted breathing is an impossibility for me.

My only source of income is the SASSA disability grant, and I lack any familial support, financial policies, or investments.

My situation is undeniably precarious. The list of chronic conditions I contend with includes Heart Failure,

Unstable Angina, Trans Ischemic Attacks, Enlarged Heart, Injection Fraction of 34%, indicating a mere 34% heart function, Chronic Kidney Disease Stage 3, Depression, Anxiety, and Type 2 Diabetes managed with medication and insulin, among other minor medical concerns.
