Inspectorate Team SPCA Sandton – our SUPEHEROES!

The job of an Inspector in animal welfare is one for someone with broad shoulders, a huge heart, and endless passion.

Our dedicated team of five superheroes is responsible for animal welfare in 176 suburbs.

They travel extensively to make sure that they are at the forefront of combatting animal abuse.

This comes at a price and we need your support to keep their vehicles on the road – please help us to keep our team of heroes moving by making a donation towards this department.

We love our team of superheroes and will not be able to do what we do if it was not for them.

The Sandton SPCA prevents cruelty, alleviates the suffering of animals and promotes kindness as set out in the Five Freedoms.

Freedom from hunger and thirst
Freedom from pain, injury and disease
Freedom from distress
Freedom from discomfort
Freedom to express behaviours that promote well-being

Animal abuse and neglect is something that can only be countered through education, pet care training and youth enrichment at a grass roots level. Our Inspectorate and Education team work tirelessly to promote positive attitudes such as compassion, empathy and respect for all life through education and outreach programmes.
