Good day. I am Linda Venter, a runner by heart. Although not one of the best, this is something that I truly enjoy.  I'm a member of the Pretoria Police Marathon Club, also known as Bobbies,  a REALLY wonderful running club.  

Norm Johnson is a dear friend of mine.  He is also well-known to many runners through his involvement in races. Norm is part of the S4J charity organization, called the SSNET. Among other, they’re raising funds for children (orphans) in Sudan, and also for eye surgeries.

He has a very soft spot for the running community and takes photos of runners on races, which the runners can download from Facebook at no cost.  They can also ask for the photos to be sent to them via e-mail or whatever platform is requested and give a small donation, which is then paid over into the S4J bank account to be utilized wherever it is needed.  All cost is paid out of Norman’s own pocket and he calls it his community service.

The camera that Norm is using to take photos of the runners, is outdated, old, and slow.

We have started a fundraiser to be able to replace the camera so that Norman can be able to take more and better photos of the runners.  This will definitely benefit the runners. Many will testify, that his photos are good and you can see the love that was put in every trigger when a photo is taken.
