Personal message

Comrades is a mental and physical challenge and I will be running the 2017 Ultra marathon in memory of Caysie;  my precious little niece who passed away in 2011 from Acute Myloid Leukemia.

I am so honoured to dedicate every step to Caysie’s memory and I am going to do it to help raise awareness and funds for the charity Rainbows and Smiles. 

Rainbows and Smiles was started by an oncology mother who’s little boy, Jed was treated at the same hospital as Caysie – Jed and Caysie passed away within one month of each other.  Please support my run and help make a difference in the lives of children fighting cancer.

The mission of this charity is to provide emotional, social and financial support to families in need when a child is diagnosed with cancer.  The principles of Rainbows and Smiles includes creating hope, smiles and relief for these families.
