Personal message
My Name is Jordan Franks and I am a Tomorrow Trust Post Secondary sponsored student who wants to make a difference. Tomorrow Trust is sponsoring me through my current Law degree at WITS.Other than just providing us with a bursary, Tomorrow Trust provides holistic support that builds our selves. Tomorrow Trust has become my family!
I am running in the 2 Oceans Marathon and will be fundraising to afford the same opportunity to another student that was afford to me. I want to spread the sense of belonging to a family and want to run for a better tomorrow.
Running is a isolated sport and often its a journey with your self and getting to the finished line. Running like Tomorrow Trust has taught me that you an break through your boundaries and limitations and that with hard work and dedication you can achieve anything.
I hope you will join me on my journey, through the practising leading up until the race and together lets make a difference!

About the Cell C & Tomorrow Trust partnership
Education remains one of the most important means of achieving gender equity as it empowers women with knowledge, skills, self-confidence and social and economic status. These qualities enable women to participate meaningfully in our economy. Given the number of young women who are unemployed and therefore vulnerable in every possible way, education is critical. Offering bursaries to girls, provides a long term investment in achieving Cell C’s goal of empowering women in South Africa.
Since 2012, the Cell C Girl Child Bursary Fund - in partnership with The Tomorrow Trust - has supported 30 beneficiaries from disadvantaged backgrounds to obtain formal qualifications. The Tomorrow Trust was founded in 2005 and works exclusively with orphans and vulnerable youth. Their aim is to release the cycle of poverty and charity, and deliver self-sustainable, self-reliant individuals who will become pro-active contributors to our society and economy.
