Personal message

I can hardly believe it myself, but I have decided to go all out and do Comrades Marathon this year.

I’ll be running in memory of my beautiful late daughter Nicci, but also in honour and appreciation of my other earthly blessings, which are plentiful.

I have chosen the charity Rainbows and Smiles to try and help to create awareness of childhood cancer and to help in some small way, the families and the tiny little victims themselves.

My connection to this wonderful organisation Rainbows and Smiles is my friendship with Bonni Suckling, we both know the heartache of losing a child, but as a result also appreciate that life is to be lived to the fullest... Just the ability to dream of doing adventurous things is such a privilege.... A privilege denied to too many little and young people.

Your support in contributing to this cause will help me run with so much more purpose!

I'm gonna have to dig deep, all I ask from you is a small contribution.
