Personal message

Education and social justice are two crucial elements in providing equal opportunities in a country that is full of opportunities.

That's where Bothsabelo comes in. Botshabelo is doing incredible work in their community through their baby home, kids educentre and teacher training centre. In 2017 so far they have empowered 60 women and impacted more than 100 kids! Their purpose is to add value to our city through eduvation, social justice and empowerment.

So lets team up. Back me to ride the 947 and together lets ADD VALUE TO OUR CITY.

Here's how you can help out:

  • donate a once off rand value (ie R300)
  • donate per completed kilometer (ie R5 p/km)
  • pledge to donate unwanted items that could be sold at the Botshabelo second hand shop.
  • Pledge to donate baby items to the baby home (you can see the wish list here --> http://www.botshabelo.co.za/wishlist/
  • Create a challenge or task for me to complete (eg ride in under 4hours and you'll double you donation or wash my car for R300)
  • Purchase a wonderful purple crocheted project from Stich Please -->   https://www.facebook.com/stitchpleasepta/

Let's champion this together and make a differnce to our community

Charity Default Logo

Botshabelo was established in the year 2000 as a Non-Profit Organisation (NPO), focusing on children’s foundation education and transforming teaching approach in South Africa through a partnership with low-income communities. The NPO is constituted by a committed and passionate group of diverse team members. Over the last 20 years, we have reached more than 85 500 beneficiaries across rural and peri-urban areas through our various programmes.

There are four catalytic programmes that Botshabelo focuses on:

  1. Babies home (Residential care for orphaned babies).
  2. UpliftED teacher training programmes (Early Childhood Development Training).
  3. Urban Kids Educare Centre ( Foundation education).
  4. Urban Closet (2nd Hand Shop)
