Richard and Caty Claassens, a devoted couple in their late 40s/early 50s, have been passionately adopting and caring for dogs and cats for over a decade. Recently, they sadly had to say goodbye to two beloved elderly pets who passed away due to old age. All their fur babies are adopted rescues, treated with love, and reside indoors.

Despite not running a rescue organization, Richard and Caty provide loving homes to animals in need. They currently have 2 dogs and 3 cats, all adopted from local rescue organizations. Additionally, they care for a feral kitten and its sweet feral mommy.

However, being on a tight budget, vet bills pose a significant challenge for the couple. They live modestly and often struggle financially. Your donation would greatly assist them in managing vet bills alongside the rising cost of living.

As of January 2024, their vet bill stands at R2,242.98. This fundraising campaign aims to raise R5,000, providing a buffer for future/emergency situations. All donations will go directly to Veterinary House CC.
