I would like to be involved in assisting Rainbow & Smiles as I know it would bring much needed help to the kids and their families that are directly affected by cancer and just to make the process easier/ better in anyway possible.
I know there will be times in my first Comrades run when the going will get tough, but it is nothing compared to what many families are going through with young cancer patients in a constant fight. You guys (Rainbow & Smiles) are the super heroes, creating hope and smiles on many faces. If I can be a part of making a child smile, and bring happiness in the process, then the 87.7km gruelling run will be well worth it!
