Personal message

As many of you know, our friend Rencia has been transferred to Groote Schuur hospital. She's been in and out of hospital because of some type of meningitis (unknown strain). She was taken to Groote Schuur on Christmas Day and they had to operate on her brain to remove some fluids. On the 22nd of January she was moved to a general ward but then on the 27th they discovered some more fluid on her brain and they had to operate again. She has since been transferred back to Vredenburg provincial hospital and she is looking much better. There is still a long road of recovery ahead but knowing Rencia, she will FIGHT every step of the way. We have started the Back-a-Buddy funding because Rencia hasn't been able to work during this time and we want to make sure that she will have the necessary funds to pay for anything that she might need for her recovery process. Soos meeste van julle weet is ons vriendin, Rencia Matomaki, huidiglik in Groote Schuur hospitaal.Rencia was verlede jaar in en uit die hospitaal as gevolg van 'n tipe breinvliesontsteking.Sy is op Kersdag opgeneem en hulle moes daarna opereer en vog van haar brein af verwyder.Rencia is Maandag die 22ste Januarie uiteindelik na 'n algemene saal geskuif.Daar le 'n lang pad van herstel voor en in die tyd wat Rencia in die hospitaal was kon sy nie werk nie. Daar is ook hospitaal kostes wat gedek moet word na haar ontslag. Ek vra een en elkeen van my vriende en kennise en jul vriende en kennise om asseblief te help waar jul kan.Elke liewe bietjie word waardeer. n ‘Back a Buddy initiatief word op die been gebring om alle donasies te koordineer. Rencia het Saterdag die 27ste Januarie weer 'n terug slag gehad en moes vir 'n derde keer opereer word.Sy doen beter en word heel moontlik na Vredenburg toe oorgeplaas.Sodra daar 'n bed vir haar beskikbaar is, sal sy Siyabonga toe gaan om daar aan te sterk en bietjie fisioterapie en rehabilitasie ontvang.

Rencia is Vrydag die 2de Februarie na Vredenburg se staat hospitaal verplaas. Sy strek mooi aan.
