Our daughter, Remi Rose was taken to the hospital on the 6th of November with breathing difficulties. She was ventilated for a month as a result of contracting Rhinovirus and Pneumocystis Jiroveci Pneumonia.
She was later diagnosed with Severe Combined Immunodeficiency. A very rare genetic disorder that causes life-threatening problems with the immune system.
Remi Rose underwent a bone marrow transplant to give her a better chance at a normal life. She will have regular follow-up appointments and endless tests.
The money that will be raised, will go to hospital and doctors expenses not covered by the medical aid.
Every contribution, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to securing Remi Rose's future - a future filled with laughter, love and endless possibilities.
