We ride to improve fitness, push ourselves to achieve our goals, foster team spirit, and experience the buzz along this awe-inspiring route. …but most importantly, our colony of bees has a very special mission to raise funds and awareness for children fighting cancer.

The government does not fund rainbows and Smiles, and we rely on our supporters' generosity and our volunteers' passion for enabling us to do our work. 

Each year in South Africa alone, almost 1000 children are diagnosed with cancer. With our socio-economic challenges and, sadly, the poor awareness of early warning signs of childhood cancer, many children are diagnosed very late into their illness. As a result, they face many difficult battles.
