Have you felt helpless watching recent events unfold in South Africa as things became hopelessly unbearable to watch, whilst you worried about family, loved ones and friends whilst rioters looted and became violent?

We have been left in despair with our country being brought to its knees by rioters incited by evil forces, SA has approximately one-third of our workforce now left unemployed, and many businesses burned to the ground.

Now is our chance to act to help rebuild our Rainbow Nation and not allow these forces to win in a war that thinks race, lawlessness and crime sprees will divide our nation. Yet, in some of the aftermath, we have witnessed compassion, heroism, and our people of all walks of life coming together as one nation. This beautiful country and its people that we all know and love, a spirit that we recognise, refuses to be broken. The message is clear, we are a resilient nation, and we will overcome as we have time and time again.

Nelson Mandela had a vision for us as a country; many still believe in it. In the spirit of the Rainbow Nation Dream, can we all dig deep and donate to get vital supplies to our people in areas that were affected the most?

Gift of the Givers are, and have been, doing incredible work for years and have the resources to get supplies to where it needs to go. We have personally spoken to Dr Imtiyaz Sooliman, and he and his team will be grateful for any help that can be delivered to the charity right now.
