Protea Old age Home is a None Profitable organization that serves under privilege and vulnerable elderly community in Humansdorp and Kouga Region with various programs such as Arts & Culture, recreation, Education and Medical assistance. The program also offer well balance meals and nutrients.

In the Covid19 Pandemic the facility was vandalized. The organization were unable to use the facilities post covid19 pandemic.

1 Roof Social Enterprise stepped in and offered assistance to rehabilitate the building, With their slogan “Rain does not fall on one roof alone”, the non-profit organization 1Roof is on a mission to repair the  roof and refurbish the building, that will offer the elderly people and community a better quality of life.

We are reaching out to anyone who is willing to partner with us to restore the dignity and give our under privilege and  vulnerable elderly people a home for the latter days of their life.
All proceeds is going for Building material, Furniture and cost to restore the facility. A BIG OR SMALL CONTRIBUTION CAN CHANGE A ENTIRE VILLAGE.

1 Roof Social Enterprise is a Registered PBO and can issue Section 18A Certificate to all business donations.

Reaching our target will change the quality of life and  impact over 500 under privilege elderly people in our communities by providing them a home (safe space),  a well balance meal and medical care.
