We want to build a Pizza Oven at our campsite that can be used for camp catering but also special events with the MENtors and the boys as part of skills development and activities that form part of our camp program.

Besides being a pizza oven we would love to start developing this amazing project into a platform that we can start to up-skill young men that have worked hard and shown interest in our programmes. The sad reality in SA is that many young people will never see a university or college and by us setting up this project, we pray that we will be able to not only teach our young men a valuable skill of cooking but instil new confidence that they can do anything that they set their minds to with the right support in culinary training.  The bonus is that one of our new MENtors is a professional chef that would be running with this skills development initiative.

All labour will be "sponsored" by MENtors and boys from the Character Company so the breakdown below is an estimate;
1. 400 bricks @ R4 each - R1600.
2. Premix cement bags for foundation 9@ R40 per bag- R360.
3. Wire chicken mesh roll- R205.
4. Heat insulation for the dome- R4000.
5 Heat resistant Cement- R1200.
6. Cement blocks 60@- R10 R600
7.Cement powder 3 @ R80 -R240
8. Reinforcing rebar 12 @ R65- R780
9.Perlite bags 2@ R399-R800
