Personal message

In the past, I have done many swims around the world, and I sometimes have been accused of being 'mad' for doing so. So what better excuse do I have for joining the Madswimmer team and their next challenge?

Madswimmer is a registered non-profit organisation, consisting of individuals participating in daring open water swimming challenges to raise funds for children's charities. 

For the Ibiza circum swim, we will be swimming 105km in 4 days around the island, to raise money for the Guild Cottage for Orphaned Children.

Guild Cottage is currently South Africa's only specialist residential treatment centre for sexually abused and traumatised children.

I am strongly committed to prevent the abuse of children, and to help those recover from abuse and trauma.
