Team Pam & Almo are on a mission once again to raise fund for Children fighting cancer.

If your dreams don’t scare you they are not big enough….

We are uniquely crazy slightly insane individuals who will push our limits both physically and mentally to make a difference in the lives of children fighting cancer. 

We will be taking on the definitive challenge for children with cancer. We have been challenged to pushed our bodies to the edge as follows:-

2. 9 February - aQuellé Midmar Mile, then the very next day

3. 10 February - Hillcrest Marathon 21km

Finishing off our challenge on

4. 9 June with the Ultimate Human race : Comrades Marathon

Almo will be doing his 10th Comrades marathon, so he has dedicated it to a very worthy cause, as every year in South Africa, almost 1000 children are diagnosed with cancer.  Our socio-economic challenges, and generally poor level of awareness of early warning signs of childhood cancer, means that a large number of these children are diagnosed very late into their illness.  As a result, they face a difficult battle.

This charity is a community-based, charitable foundation dedicated to providing emotional, social and financial support to children diagnosed with cancer or a life-threatening illness, and their families and caregivers.

Rainbows and Smiles is not funded by government, and we rely on the generosity of our supporters and the passion of our volunteers to enable us to do the work we do.

Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all….
