Nuba Mountains outreach 2022

Personal message
There are both ENORMOUS CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES in the Nuba Mountains of Sudan. As S4J we’re involved with two projects right now. The one is eye surgeries and the other is the Children’s Project in the Nuba Mountains of Sudan.
Based on clear calling from the LORD, I’m visiting by His grace the Nuba Mountains in December 2022 to:
- Attend a collaborative consultation between representatives of Churches and organizations that have been involved with the Nuba Mountains for many years.
- Spend time with the children and the children’s project, with others that are also connected to this project.
- Connect with disciple making initiatives in the Nuba Mountains
To get to the Nuba Mountains was always costly. With the latest challenges like increased exchange rate and travel costs, it is even more costly to travel. But the call of God is clear: GO NOW.

S4J is a fundraiser where athletes who run the Comrades marathon (and other races) raise funds to help the people of Sudan and South Sudan. We focus on providing help to war victims, as well as those in avoided and neglected communities where help is needed most.
The primary focus is providing these communities with access to clean water and assistance to those who share the Good News of Jesus Christ to those in need.
