3 whole months ago we decided (got volunteered) to enter the Argus. Despite the fact that we had no bikes, no shorts, no cleets, no training and nearly coughed up a lung every time we had to run because we were late forour staff meeting... we thought... how hard can it be?? hahahahhhaaaaHA!


3 Months later... 7 falls (each), lots of agonising hills, thorn bushes and many excuses to stay in bed rather than train..we THINK we might maybe possibly be ready. And even if we not, we keep reminding ourselves its not about us,its about the kids. The thing that gets us up each hill is thinking of little Ayesha trying to walk with her crutches, and baby Mivuyo finally getting slight movement, only in his shoulders,and the other 43 children and their own daily battles. This is the reason for our madness.... and we NEED your help!

The Sabrina Love Foundation started in 2003, was set up to honour the memory of Sabrina Lubner, daughter of Tony and Suzy. Sabrina was born with a rare bone disorder and after 7 short years, following intensive support from professionals, family and friends, she passed away. Currently, there are over 60 children receiving daily support from the program, including a day-care centre housing an additional 27 children providing expert professional care, daily meals, parental support and a teacher training course.
