Dear Back-a-Buddy Community,

I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart, as my siblings and I find ourselves in an incredibly challenging situation. My name is Mosima Ramatsetse & I'm from Bela Bela in Limpopo province. In November 2021, our family house tragically burned down under mysterious circumstances, leaving us without a place to call home. The loss is not just physical but emotional, as our home held our childhood memories, for my youngest sibling, this is the only home she knows and the memories of our late parents, who both passed away within the last few years—our mother in 2020 and our father in 2022. Their absence has left a void that only the warmth of our family home could fill.

 

While we initially hoped to use the funds left by our mother to rebuild, the complexities surrounding her estate have dimmed that possibility. Recent updates indicate that we won't be receiving much due to unforeseen factors, further complicating our already difficult situation.

With the burden of these losses, we find ourselves yearning for a sense of normalcy and togetherness. All we desire is a place to call home—a sanctuary where we can heal and rebuild our lives. Unfortunately, the financial obstacles before us seem insurmountable, and we turn to you, our community, for help.

 

We have set up a Back-a-Buddy campaign to raise the funds needed to rebuild our family home. Every contribution, no matter how small, will bring us one step closer to reuniting as a family and rebuilding our lives. Your generosity can turn our dream of going home into a reality.
